Der Softron Multicam Logger 2 Dongle ermöglicht es einem Benutzer, alle verschiedenen Kameras (oder Eingänge) aufzuzeichnen, die in einer Live-Multikamera-Produktion verwendet werden.

Die Software zeichnet in Realtime auf, welchen Eingang der Regisseur an seinem Videomixer ausgewählt hat.  Der Multicam Logger erstellt so einen Multicam-Clip für Final Cut Pro X, Final Cut Pro 7 und Adobe Premiere Pro, indem er die Logs und die von einem beliebigen Videorecorder aufgenommenen Dateien verwendet. Das Ziel ist es, die resultierenden Medien zu verwenden, um eine endgültige Version der Produktion zu bearbeiten, die notwendige Korrekturen enthalten kann.

Nahtlose Integration von Videomischern

Der Multicam Logger kann über GPI in die meisten Produktionsmischer integriert werden. Mit dem Tricaster® von NewTek und der ATEM® Production Switcher Line von Blackmagic Design ist es sogar noch einfacher, da du die Verbindung über Ethernet herstellen kannst. Die Eingänge des Netzwerk-Switchers erscheinen sofort auf dem Multicam Logger-Bildschirm und die Verbindung erfolgt über eine einfache Netzwerkverbindung, so dass keine komplizierte Verkabelung erforderlich ist und du jeden ATEM oder Tricaster Production Switcher verwenden kannst.

Requires Monitor Connected Yes. Even if it should behave fine in most cases, it is recommended to keep a monitor connected at all times for best performances. Or you should make the macOS think that there is a monitor connected. Beware of some KVM switches that can cause interrupts in the signal.

Important Note: Some of the codecs above such as H.264 or MPEG2 can have a lot of variants. This is why we always recommend to have a procedure on how to create the files you put on air. So you are sure it will always behave well. If you receive files from external sources and you don’t know how they were generated, it’s always a good idea to test them before putting them on air. You can even test them on a different computer with a demo version of one of our playout application.
