The Rycote Classic-Softie is a slip-on windshield made of open-cell acoustic foam with an integrated synthetic fur cover for shotgun microphones. It significantly reduces wind noise without audibly affecting the high-frequency range, and reliably protects the microphone during ENG, documentary and outdoor recording. The UV- and moisture-resistant material makes it robust and long-lasting.
