Der Blackmagic Design Teranex AV bietet 1089 Up-, Down-, Cross- und Standardkonvertierungen für Formate von NTSC und PAL bis zu 2K und UHD 4K Video. Unabhängig von der Konvertierung erfolgt die gesamte Verarbeitung in Echtzeit mit einer minimalen Latenz von etwa zwei Frames.

Das Gerät verfügt über 12G-SDI- und HDMI 2.0a-Eingänge, Durchschleifung und Ausgänge sowie BNC-Anschlüsse als Referenz. Außerdem gibt es einen 2-Kanal-Consumer-HiFi-Anschluss und XLR-Anschlüsse für 4 AES/EBU-Kanäle oder 2 symmetrische analoge Audiokanäle.

Das macht Teranex AV perfekt für Moderatoren mit Lavaliermikrofonen oder Laptop-Audio, denn der Ton kann an jedem Ausgang in das Video eingebettet werden! Es gibt sogar einen Glasfaseranschluss mit einem 3G-Modul, so dass du Video und Audio über große Entfernungen übertragen kannst.

Multi Rate Support

SDI connections are switchable between standard definition, high definition and Ultra HD. SDI switches between 270 Mb/s standard definition SDI, 1.5 Gb/s HD-SDI and 2K SDI, 3G HD, 6G and 12G Ultra HD.

Output Switching

Output may be switched between the input video, internal black, user still frame or a freeze frame from the input video. The transition rate between output choices has a range of 0 to 5 seconds. A transition forces a dissolve through black.
