The Manfrotto 151 is a compact adapter spigot made of brass that serves as a connecting piece between the common thread and stud sizes in photo and lighting setups. It combines a 16 mm stud with a 1/4-inch screw and is reduced from 3/8 inch to 1/4 inch via an additional piece. This allows heads, accessories and mounts with different connections to be combined with one another without difficulty.
