Take advantage of the innovative SpeedLevel technology that allows almost instant mounting and leveling of your camera rig on virtually any Sachtler 100mm bowl tripod. The clamp and screw SpeedLevel system saves valuable time leveling your camera rig by eliminating the need to screw on a locking knob. Designed for larger DSLR, mirrorless and digital film cameras, the active12T supports rigs weighing from 0 to 14kg. The fluid head features 15 levels of weight compensation and seven levels of pan and tilt resistance adjustment, as well as zero settings for balance and resistance.

SpeedLevel technology replaces the traditional head screw and mounting system with a rugged clamp and bolt integrated into the head housing that can be attached to the tripod housing or other mounting platforms, such as a slider. Simply grab the large lever on the head and pull up to release the clamp, then push down to lock the head in place.
