Description
The Slidekamera AKC-3 is a two-part quick-release system: the AKC-3 adapter and the AK-101 sliding plate. One part stays on your camera or device, the other on the head, slider or crane. To change setups, you slide the plate into the adapter and lock it, instead of unscrewing and reassembling your equipment every time. The system is rated for loads up to 30 kg.
Locking
Two clamping knobs hold the plate in the adapter, and a safety pin adds a second level of security.
Mounting options
The AK-101 plate has a 1/4" and a 3/8" camera screw for attaching your camera or device. It also has four M4 holes in Manfrotto spacing and two holes for M8 screws, for mounting it to Slidekamera heads, HSK-series rails and cranes. The adapter mounts via a 3/8" thread or four M4 holes, also in Manfrotto spacing.
