Description
The SmallRig 2790 holds a USB power bank on your camera cage, rig or phone rig, so you can keep a camera, monitor or other USB-powered device running through long takes. The clamp opens from 53 to 81 mm, wide enough for many common power banks.
Mounting and clamping
You attach the holder with two 1/4"-20 screws, ideally to a cage or cheese plate with two matching threads. It won't hold securely on a cold shoe. The clamp isn't spring-loaded. You tighten it with a thumbscrew, and rubber pads inside protect the power bank from scratches and absorb shocks. It is designed for power banks, but other devices within that width, such as a portable SSD, fit as well.
At about 80 g it adds very little weight to your rig. Our set includes the two 1/4" hex screws, so keep a hex key handy. The power bank and cables are not included.
