Tilta Range Expansion Module for Nucleus-M II FIZ Hand Unit

This range expansion module for the Tilta Nucleus-M II wireless lens control system clicks onto the side of the hand unit. With the extended range, you can work much farther from the camera, for example when you pull focus from the monitor position or the camera is mounted on a crane or a vehicle.

Range

The range is up to 1,900 ft (about 550 m) in normal environments and up to 4,900 ft (about 1,500 m) with clear line of sight in open spaces. Walls, people and vehicles between you and the camera reduce that on a real set. The included antenna mounts on top of the module.

Power and USB-C

The module has a slot for an NP-F550 battery. Its USB-C port works in both directions: it can charge the hand unit and power a small monitor directly, so the monitor doesn’t need its own battery.

Grip and mounting

The integrated handle makes the hand unit easier to hold through long shoot days. On top is a NATO rail, plus two 1/4″-20 and one 3/8″-16 anti-twist threads for a monitor, a phone holder or other small accessories.

The module only works with the Nucleus-M II hand unit. The hand unit and battery are not included.
