Can I book my rental Online?

Yes, absolutely! We even offer a 5% automatic discount on your order if you reserve it over our web service.  As soon as we receive your reservation, one of our rental specialists will check the order just to make sure everything looks fine. As soon as that is done you will receive a written offer per e-mail. Once you confirm that offer, you are all set! Happy shooting.

What documents do I need at pickup?

If you are a first time customer, or it is the first time that you pick up equipment from the EQC, we will ask for official photo-identification to confirm your personal details. A photocopy of your document will be made and stored securely by us.

If you are an Austrian national, a driver’s license is sufficient. Nationals of other european countries will be required to present a national identity card or passport. Foreign nationals will be required to present a valid passport.

What kind of insurance covers my rental?

We offer a comprehensive insurance package on all orders. The cost of the insurance is 7% of the order total and is automatically added to your offer. This package covers all damages, loss or theft of the equipment with a deductible of 500€ per damage case. This policy covers production in Austria. If you need worldwide coverage, please let us know at pickup. For more information on insurance and the exact legal text, please consult our general terms and conditions.

If you are working on a larger project or have your own insurance that covers external rentals, this insurance fee can be waived. If you plan on using your own insurance, please e-mail us at least 2 business days before the rental period begins with a scanned copy of your insurance policy for us to check and keep on file.

What payment methods are available?

Rental orders can be paid in cash or by credit card at pickup. We support VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, VISA Electron, VISA Pay, Diners Club, Discover, JCB and China Union Pay.

Production companies with offices in Austria can apply for bank transfer / invoice payments, subject to a credit check.

What are your business hours?

We are available Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM. Weekends and bank holidays on request.

Is a security deposit required?

We usually charge a security deposit of up to 300€ at pickup. This is payable in cash or with VISA or MasterCard.

Are there any discounts available?

We offer brand new and pristine equipment at a competitive price tag to our customers. As filmmakers ourselves, we also understand that budgets can be tight sometimes, so we are open for talks about discounts. We currently offer the following automatic discounts:

  • 15% on film student projects (valid Student ID required)
  • 5% on all orders made through our web service
  • For rentals over 1 week please speak to us about a custom discount

If you are shooting a non-commercial project or are working for an NGO, please contact us about possible additional discounts. We will do our best to make it work for you.
