For insurance reasons, we can only rent to companies in the film and photography sector.
We offer our services to film production companies, freelance cinematographers, sound technicians and all other professional content producers, provided they are qualified to operate the equipment.

Unfortunately, we cannot rent equipment to private individuals.

Film students are exempt from this rule. If you are a film student, please contact us a few days before your rental so we can discuss discounts.

All prices on our website are daily rental prices. In principle, we only charge for the respective days of use and check this individually for each rental process.

We are happy to grant a discount for rentals lasting several days. If you are planning a long-term rental, please contact us and we will calculate a special price according to the rental period.

We’re happy to take on your project starting from an order value of €100.

Yes, definitely! We even offer an instant 10% discount on your order if you place it through our web service. Once we receive it, one of our rental specialists will review the order to make sure everything is in good order.

Once this is done, you will receive a written quote by email. Once you have confirmed the order, everything is finalised and the equipment is reserved for you.

As many of our customers have their own batteries and memory cards, we have decided to offer the accessories separately.

This not only enables a better and transparent price, but also offers you the greatest possible flexibility to find the optimal choice of power supply and memory card size for your project.

Under the respective products, you will find accessories recommended by us that you can easily add to your booking.

When checking out of your booking process, you will find a field where you can enter special requests or questions. We try to take every request into account and answer your questions as best we can.

If you have forgotten something in your order, please write us a short message and we will be happy to change your order or add the missing equipment.

If the equipment is not already reserved for other customers, you can easily extend the rental period. Please let us know in good time so that we can check availability.

By prior appointment or arrangement, you can test the desired equipment on site to make sure that you have made the right choice and that your planned setup works as you expect it to. Our team will be happy to advise you.

We will be happy to organize delivery by one of our logistics partners.

Within Vienna, we offer delivery by courier or courier cab. Same day delivery is possible if your order arrives early enough and a driver is available.

Products marked with the “Shipping possible” badge can also be shipped nationwide using our selected shipping service. Please note that additional rental days may be charged due to the lead time and transportation route.

We will inform you of the respective prices for the shipping service during the quotation process after your booking request.

As a rule, deliveries are only made to business addresses and are purely a door-to-door service. This means that someone must be available to accept the goods during business hours.

If you require shipping, please let us know in your equipment request by email or in the notes when booking online.

Note: Unfortunately, no delivery options are available to first-time renters, as proof of identity and address must be presented to us. Exceptions can be made for production companies.

When you pick up equipment from the EQC for the first time, we require a photo ID to confirm your personal details.

If you are an Austrian citizen, a driving licence is sufficient. Citizens of other EU countries need an identity card or passport, for citizens of non-EU countries a valid passport is required.

We offer a 24-hour box that allows you to pick up or return equipment outside of opening hours.

A return to the 24-hour box is possible if:
– You let us know when ordering so that we can create an access code for you.
– The invoice has been paid at the time of collection, unless you have an accounts receivable agreement with us.

A Collection from the 24-hour box is possible if:
– You let us know when you order so that we can create an access code for you.
– You have already visited us in person.
– We have an accounts receivable agreement with you (you pay us on account).

Before leaving the 24-hour box, please check the equipment for function and completeness. If something is not in order, please send us a photo with a description before leaving the box to rental@eqc.at or to our WhatsApp at +43 1 227 60 22. In case of an emergency, you can also reach us on the 24-hour hotline +43 1 227 60 22 555.

Please note that we use video surveillance to monitor the processes in the 24-hour box. By using the 24-hour box, you agree to your personal data being collected and stored for this purpose.

Please be sure to inform us if the return is delayed. Additional costs may be incurred for late returns, depending on the length of the delay.

Payment by invoice (on account) is possible for companies based in Austria. Companies based abroad can make a bank transfer in advance or receive a link to make the payment online by credit card before collection.

We are aware that budgets can sometimes be tight, so we are happy to negotiate discounts. Currently we are offering the following instant discounts:

– 15% on film student projects (valid student ID required).
– 10% on all orders via our web services.
– For rentals of several days, we are happy to arrange an individual discount.

For filming on non-commercial projects, or work for NGOs, please contact us to see what additional discounts are available. We will do our best to find the best possible solution for your project.

In general we do not require a security deposit upon pickup.

We offer a comprehensive insurance package on all orders. The cost of this is 7% of the rental price and will be shown separately in the quote. All damages are covered, minus a 500€ deductible per damage. In case of loss or theft of equipment, the deductible is 25% of the original price of the equipment, up to a maximum of 7500 EUR. This insurance policy covers productions within Austria.

Please let us know at the time of collection if you require worldwide insurance. For more information on insurance and legal guidelines, please see our general terms and conditions.

If you are working on a large project or have your own insurance that covers externally hired equipment, this fee may be waived. If you would like to use your own insurance, please inform us by email at least two working days before the start of the rental period with a scanned copy of the insurance policy so that we can check it.

Each rental process is followed by a careful check for function and completeness by our trained staff.

However, if there is a breakdown or something is damaged, please contact us immediately. Together we will clarify the next steps and, if necessary, arrange for an appropriate replacement.

We are open from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
