Building on the success of the popular CP.2 lenses, the CP.3 Compact Prime lenses from ZEISS offer the same full-frame sensor coverage and the same classic ZEISS look in an updated form factor as well as improved mechanics and lens coating.

This 25 mm Compact Prime lens is based on the same classic optical formula as the previous CP.2 variant and has the same physical length as the 15, 18, 21, 28, 35, 50 and 85 CP.3 lenses, while maintaining the identical focus and iris diaphragm positioning with the entire set of CP.3 lenses in relation to the mount.

All CP.3 lenses also have the same front diameter of 95 mm. Similar physical properties across the entire lens line make fitting lens accessories such as mat boxes, follow focus, lens mounts and lens control motors easier and less time-consuming.

The Signature Zeiss Look

ZEISS lenses are known for their clean and sharp image reproduction. The CP.3 series of lenses is no different. This CP.3 lens adapts exactly to the colours of other ZEISS cinema lenses inside and outside the CP.3 range. The CP.3 lenses have improved lens coatings and anti-reflection masks compared to the CP.2s for more contrast and less stray light, important for capturing content with the intention of releasing it in HDR format.
