The Angelbird AV PRO SE is a 1TB CFexpress Type B card built to the newer CFexpress 4.0 standard. It’s made for cameras that record high-bitrate raw or All-Intra footage to Type B media, from cinema cameras like the Sony BURANO to the Nikon ZR.
The card sustains its write speed for the entire recording, which matters on long takes at high data rates. It works in any camera with a CFexpress Type B slot, including models that only support the older CFexpress 2.0 standard.
If the camera battery dies mid-take, Host Power Loss Protection saves the buffered data and shuts the card down safely. When it’s idle, the card drops into a low-power mode so it doesn’t heat up unnecessarily. It’s also protected against extreme temperatures, moisture, dust, shock, X-rays and magnetic fields.
Don’t forget to book a CFexpress Type B card reader. We recommend our Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2 Card Reader.
