VW Bus T6 Transporter Rental Car

The VW Bus T6 Transporter Doka (double cabin) has a long wheelbase and offers space for 6 people and plenty of storage space for your equipment. The bus has a digital highway vignette. This means you can start your journey on all highways without any worries.

Please remember that this vehicle runs on diesel. The fuel cap is located right next to the driver’s door. Please make sure to return the vehicle with a full tank.

If you are picking up or returning the vehicle outside our business hours, you can open the entry gate using the remote control, which you will find in the glove compartment. The registration certificate, insurance card and a parking meter are also stored there.

In the event of an accident, you will also find the international insurance card, an accident report and the ÖAMTC membership card. Please contact us immediately if you have a breakdown or an accident! If you cannot reach us during business hours, please call our 24-hour emergency hotline on +43 1 22 760 22 555.

When lifting up the seat on the passenger side, you will find all kinds of useful things, such as the first aid kit and the safety vests, which you must put on as soon as you leave the vehicle in the event of a breakdown or accident. In case of fire, you will also find a fire extinguisher there.

If you have a flat tire, you can use a compressor to quickly restore the tire pressure. If the damage to the tire is too severe, you will find a spare tire under the trunk. The tools you need to change the tire are stored in the trunk.

In case you mount a video transmitter or camera on the outside of the vehicle and need to route cables outside, you can do this via the roof hatch above the rear seat row.

This vehicle is also equipped with a parking heater, which you are advised to operate for a maximum of 45 minutes. If you use the built-in power converter in the rear seating area, please ensure that the vehicle’s engine is running, as otherwise, the starter battery will drain.

If the battery is accidentally drained, you can start the vehicle with the Noco Boost jump-start battery, which you will find under the passenger seat.

The load compartment has the following dimensions: depth: 160cm, width: 130cm, height: 130cm. To make transporting your equipment as convenient as possible, you can hire our shelving system free of charge.

Please note that the vehicle is registered as a truck. The payload is 1113 kg, and the maximum permissible gross weight is 3200 kg.
