SKAARHOJ PTZ Fly with SDI Option

The SKAARHOJ PTZ Fly is a compact desktop controller for PTZ cameras. You steer the camera with the 3-axis joystick: move it to pan and tilt, and twist the handle to control focus on compatible lenses, such as the Panasonic LUMIX G X Vario series. Buttons and knobs next to it recall presets, select the camera and adjust image settings, so one operator can run one or several remote cameras from a single panel, for example for live streams, events or studio productions.

SDI option for Blackmagic cameras

This version has a Blackmagic Arduino shield built in, with one SDI input and one SDI output. It reads and writes Blackmagic camera control data over SDI. That lets you control Blackmagic cameras that take control commands over SDI, for example a Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera mounted on one of our rental pan-tilt heads. Our unit comes fully set up for the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera, so together with the Mini Converter SDI Distribution 4K you can control up to 5 cameras plug-and-play, with no additional hardware.

Network, power and programming

IP cameras are controlled over Ethernet. The panel runs on the included 12 V power supply or via PoE (IEEE 802.3af), so a single network cable can carry both data and power. It runs SKAARHOJ’s UniSketch OS, which you configure for your cameras and workflow. SKAARHOJ offers device cores for many PTZ models, including Sony BRC, Panasonic AW-HE, PTZOptics, NewTek and generic VISCA cameras.
