The Tiffen 4 x 5.65″ Glimmerglass 1/8 Filter is a beauty filter that serves a dual function: Not only does it change the appearance of the image itself, but it also provides a sparkling appearance when viewed from the front, which instills more confidence in the model. The filter itself helps soften skin details, blemishes, and wrinkles. It also provides bright highlights and a slight reduction in contrast for a more ethereal look. The 1/8 density provides more softness than the 1/16 density, but less than the 1/4 density.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process in which the filter substrate is laminated between two pieces of optical glass and ground flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 5.65″ / 101.6 x 143.5 mm.
