Description

Set up a wired network on set, in the studio or at a live event with this unmanaged 16-port Gigabit switch from tp-link (model TL-SG1016D). It connects computers, video switchers, streaming encoders and any other device with an RJ45 network port. There's nothing to configure: plug in power and cables and it works.

Ports and speed

All 16 ports run at up to 1,000 Mb/s and detect speed and cable type automatically (Auto MDI/MDIX), so you don't need crossover cables. With a switching capacity of 32 Gb/s, all ports can run at full speed at the same time. LEDs on the front show power and link/activity for each port, which helps when you're tracking down a loose cable.

Silent operation

The switch has no fan, so it runs silently, which matters on set and in rooms where you're recording sound. It's powered by AC (100 to 240 V) via the included power cable.

Good to know: as an unmanaged switch it has no settings menu, so there are no VLANs or other network configuration options.

In the Case
  • 2x rack mount brackets with screws
  • Power cable
  • Manual original box

Network cables are not included.
