The FDR-X3000 can record UltraHD resolution 4K (3840 x 2160) at 25p with bit-rates of 100 Mb/s or 60 Mb/s and 720p video at up to 240 fps for slow-motion playback. Video can be recorded in MP4 or professional-quality XAVC S codecs. It also takes up to 12 megapixel still photos in single-shot or burst modes. The integrated optical image stabilization is available at up tp 4K video.

The BIONZ X sensor’s distinct design puts wiring behind the light-capturing photo sites for vastly improved sensitivity and reduced noise.

Apart from being splash proof, the camera includes a 60m-rated underwater housing. Wireless camera control is offered via the Sony Play Memories smartphone app – pre installed on our tablets or with the included RM-LVR3 remote control.
