The Blackmagic Design Mobile Live Monitor Unit 4K is a professional monitoring unit, including the 15.6″ SmartView 4K 2 12G monitor with a native resolution of 3840 x 2160. Supporting one multi-rate 12G-SDI input, as well as one HDMI input (provided by the rear-mounted Teranex mini converter HDMI > SDI 12G), all your needs on the set are covered. When monitoring SD, 720p, or 1080p SDI or HDMI sources, the built-in Teranex processors use Blackmagic’s PixelMotion algorithms to automatically deinterlace and scale video up to UHD 4K.
3D LUT Support
Dual 3D LUT support lets you customize color for on-set grading and monitoring. Combined with the 12G-SDI input, the SmartView 4K can display DCI 4K60 footage from high-end cameras such as the Blackmagic URSA, letting you view native LOG gamma color spaces with Rec. 709 or custom color spaces using the 3D LUTs.
