Deity BF1 Butterfly Antenna Kit

The Deity BF1 kit gives you two passive butterfly antennas to use instead of the small stock antennas on your wireless receivers. Mounted high on the sound bag, a sound cart or a stand, they sit above the gear and have a clearer line of sight to the transmitters than antennas screwed onto receivers inside the bag.

One antenna for many systems

The BF1 covers 470 MHz to 1 GHz with an omnidirectional pattern. That spans the usual UHF wireless bands, so it works with Deity THEOS and with other UHF systems in that range without swapping antennas for each frequency block. It is passive and needs no power. With two antennas you can feed both antenna inputs of a diversity receiver or an antenna distribution system.

Connecting and mounting

Each antenna has a BNC connector. Use the BNC cables for receivers or antenna distribution systems with BNC inputs, and the BNC to right-angle SMA cables for receivers with SMA connectors, such as the THEOS receivers. The articulating arms with clamps hold the antennas on the bag, cart or a rod; the antenna mount also has a 1/4"-20 thread. Adjust the angle on location and check signal strength on the receiver at different distances before you shoot. Keep the antennas well away from IFB transmitters, walkie-talkies and phones. The BNC mount is IP65 weather-sealed.
