The Deity THEOS D2RX is the dual-channel receiver of the THEOS digital UHF system, offered here on its own, without transmitters. Book it when you need an extra receiver, for example to get the same THEOS transmitters into a second camera or recorder. It works with THEOS transmitters such as the DBTX bodypack and the DXTX plug-on transmitter.
Frequencies
The kit includes two antenna sets, color-coded by the antenna cap:
- Red: best between 608 and 630 MHz, usable from 550 to 694 MHz
- Yellow: best between 733 and 758 MHz, usable from 694 to 790 MHz

Outputs for camera and recorder
Two locking 3.5 mm outputs feed a camera, recorder or mixer. For a camera’s 3.5 mm mic input, you can route both channels to one output and set the output gain to -20 dB to match a mic-level input. For XLR inputs, use the two included RX-Link cables, one channel per output, with the output gain at 0 dB for line level. Output B can also be switched to headphone monitoring. Over USB-C, the D2RX sends digital audio straight to a computer or smartphone.
Setup and power
Two SMA antennas provide true diversity reception. Screw them on hand-tight and keep them from running parallel or crossing. The Sidus Audio app lets you scan for open frequencies and control the receiver and transmitters remotely. The D2RX runs on two AA batteries (8+ hours with Deity lithium AA cells) or on USB-C power, and the power LED turns red when about 30 minutes are left. The receiver does not output timecode. On camera, it mounts on the cold shoe adapter. Otherwise, use the belt clip.
